USCIS Vermont, (DNS*), In an unprecedented move, the 140 pending cases has shown some change. The USCIS site today updated the 140 processing dates and the dates have seen to be moved from the demonic October 15, 2002 to October 28, 2002. This dramatic change in dates was totally unexpected and USCIS had never moved dates so fast in a few decades. When enquired about it, the USCIS chief Mr.Delayeddraft said it was a very surprising move which even he hasn't expected. The USCIS staff were likely to celebrate it for a week from now by opening champagne bottles. The change in dates have indicated to the anti-social elements (read immigrants) that USCIS is indeed productive. One of the employees of USCIS who was drinking his 12th Tequilla, said "The productive (rate) is an all time high and is about 1200% more than any departments".

Meanwhile, various immigrant groups have expressed their disbelief. A veteran waiting for his employment based GC for the 6th year said, "... been there, done that... that would have been a glitch in their websites. Historically this could never happen with USCIS". The guard promptly noted down his EAC number.
