Does anybody knows when the new fiscal year for CIS starts? Is it September 1st 2006?

I think many ND 2005 with LUD 5/24 are just waiting for the new fiscal yearr to arrive to be approved... what you guys think?

Federal (or Uscis) Fiscal Year Starts March 1 Through September 30

-they Consistently Approve Cases Based On Fiscal Year (you Will See Massive Approvals By September 30).

-they Approve Also On The Case To Case Basis Within Less Than 2 Months Of Bio Code 3 Especially Cases With (no Complicated Criminal Background, All Initials And Evidence Submitted Along With Initial Application Such As Medical, Biography, Birth Certificate, Asylum Approved Or I-90 Etc...

-they Approve Cases, When The I.o Has A Voluminous Chuncks Of Applications All Scanned And Ready To Go.

I Hope That Will Help.

Thanks.

I think that partially TSC has slowed down because of summer time and many IOs are on vacation. However we've seen a few ND 2005 approved recently, so I hope we will be all done by the end of summer.

Like the rest of the federal government, the CIS fiscal year begins on October 1.

Previously they indeed tended to approve a large number of cases at the start of a new fiscal year. The reason was with the cap in place the beginning of a new fiscal year meant that they had new visa numbers to distribute. The logic probably does not hold anymore now that there is no longer a cap.

I heard from my attorney that the NSC has been approving refugee AOS's lately like crazy.
