First FP notice (EB3 RD 3/3/04) - can I do it early at the different place?

I got my first FP notice that is scheduled on 11/4.

I wonder if I can do early and/or at least do it at the different office.
Due to my home address, I got Hartford, CT office but I work near Boston during weekdays.

What is rational behind early FP - I wonder!

Anyway the answer is - it depends on the center which you are visiting.

For location - most of the times you can do it.
 
The reason I want to go early is because my scheduled day is Thur. 11am.
I know the office opens on Saturday, if I can go prior Sat I can go to the assigned office without taking a day off.
Anyone has experience with Hartford??

can you post more info.. it seems early for you to get an FP notice.. is your I140 approved.. what is your priority date?
 
Nothing against you, but I wonder how 2004 filed cases are getting FP notices while we who filed in 2003 are still waiting.....what did we do wrong? :confused:

Hartford :) dont waste Gas, This Friday my friend went for FP (on his appointment date), first statement they told him was, "if you dont have appointment today, please leave"

I was thinking to try on Sat but will not.
My PD is 6/10/02 and my 140 has approved on 7/29/04.
I do know it's early to get FP notice and believe me I feel lucky to know that they are doing something on my app.
But if you looked at 2004 tracker there ARE several who got FP.

How about changing ASC to Boston, do you think it's OK. Otherwise, I need to take a day off...
