Finished my interview- but the birth date is wrong

Hi Guys,

I just came back from my interview. They didn't ask us many questions and everything went well.

There is one big problem though. My wife's birth certificate has the years in the wrong order. Instead of 1989, it has it as 1998. The officer said she needs the right one faxed by tomorrow, otherwise she can't make a decision.


Her birth certificate is from a different country. How do I get this fixed? Please help
 
She'll need a new birth certificate issued by her birth country. Her country's embassy in the US or a relative in her country may be able to help.

The certificate obviously won't by ready by tomorrow, so USCIS will put the case on hold until the birth certificate is provided.
