Hi,

I received my 2nd FP after over two years of silence.

Questions 1:
Is this a good sign? Possible Interview?

Question 2:
FP appointment is in late November. Can I do a walk-in sooner?

I can't answer the first one. As for 2nd, you can try. People have mixed results. It depends upon the officer there.

Question 2. You can take an InfoPass and try to get your appointment changed by an IO. Simply walking in will result in being turned away, in our district at least.

A 2nd FP after a long silence is anecdotal evidence that your name check has finally cleared. You can always try FP walk in ..your ASC may allow it.
