"On September 3, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

I have a Question

Is it OK to go before the requested date for an FP ?

140/485 filed concurrently ND : 10/17/03

Can we go to NEWARK office before the scheduled FP date? If anybody has done so, pl. let me know ur experience.

Is Passport compulsory to take when we go for FP?
 
Me too. Got first fp notice yesterday scheduled at the memphis center on OCT 19th 2004 (ND 10/20/2003). My wife did not get her notice though. Is this normal ?
 
I just got first FP notice ND 8/26/04; FP1 to be done on 09/23/04 (almost 6 months (182 days) from I-485 ND) No LUD change no e-mail. My wife (derivative) also got FP1 notice for same day and time.

Going for FP before the Scheduled Date

Does anyone has an experiance of going for FP before the scheduled Date ......

FP notice received, ND 07/10/2003

Email from the lawyer says that they have received the notice on 09/07. I haven't been home since, so I see if it's there once I do get back. What's funny is that the attorneys have received an 'FP2' notice, with information on the expiration, etc, but I this is the first notice. Trust USCIS to mess things up :D

I 485 ND July 25 ,2003 , I 140 got approved , No FP

I did not got a FP yet , my ND is July 25 , 2003 from VSC , my 140 got approved in August 2004 , did talk with the Attorney about this he told that we cant do any thing just wait any feedback will be appreciated

Just adding to earlier post ..My wife got her fp notice yesterday in mail. Both scheduled for the same day but 1 hour apart. Keeping our fingers crossed !

Did FP today in Charlotte

Did our FP today at Charlotte ASC. I (derivative) recd FP notice but my spouse ( primary )didn't . We asked them if they could do his FP also - they asked for I-485 receipt and checked in the computer and allowed him to be fingerprinted too...So this was nice .

I-485 ND = 12/4/2003

we live in charlotte and have close receipt date.. Pls keep us posted about change in LUD date for ur 485 once the FP results received. thanks
 
Early finger Prints completed- Case status updated.

As you all are aware that we have received our 1 finger prints notice on 08/30 and schedule date on 09/28/04.
We completed our early finger prints task on 09/02/04.

Today I received a email saying my and my wife case on finger print is updated.

Received FP notice yesdarday with Appt date on 9/8/04 :) However I plan on getting mine done next week.
