fingerprints notice

I received a fingerprints notice today. It says that my fingerprints has expired and I need to take a new one. Looks like something is moving on.

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum but i would like to give some informations about my status.
I 've submitted my i 485 on january 1999, did my fingerprint on 10th september 2002 still waiting for an answer .Hope this infos helps some folks.

Finger printing is just a routine matter. BCIS will send you a finger print notice once every year until your I-485 is approved. For those of us who appiled in 1997-1998 it took 4 to 6 years to get approval notice. I dont know how many backlock cases are right now, but they can only approve 10K cases per year because of legislative restriction.
 
I applyed for I-485 in August 1998. I had my fingerprints done in March 2001. This is my second notice and i hope my case will be processed this year.

Wow Irina, it should be good this time. I hope this time things go well for you and for sessanga and annv and alanpero and others. You guys applied in 1998 and did not get your green cards yet. I feel lucky that I got mine 3 months ago but my joy will be complete when you get yours. Good luck

I had applied I-485 in March 99 and I just did my finger prints for the first time in April 2003. From what I think you are not late by any means so don't worry.
