Fingerprints during US B-2 Visa

Actually I have two indian passports with two different name; one is original name and the other is duplicate name and two different DOB...
I have already applied to US B-2 visa in the year 2005 with my duplicate indian passport in chennai, india and they took my fingerprints and I got rejected at that time...
In the year 2007, I applied for canadian student visa and I got the visa on my original name...
Now I am planning to visit US in my holidays...
Can you please tell me that the fingerprints which I gave in India with my duplicate name will affect my fingerprints in canada for getting the B-2 US visa with my original name passport...
please reply me as soon as possible...

Use the passport that matches your current legal name. Upon entry you will know what all USCIS knows about your second passport.

I don't understand why u are in a big problem unless u committed some fraud. First a person can at any one point of time have only 1 VALID passport that is used for travel. The only exception to this rule is for diplomats who have a diplomatic passports.

Your current VALID passport must have the current LEGAL name. You need to use that to apply for any visa.


Lastly, U need to say the truth and nothing but the truth.
 
I can vouch for that. I only had a Pakistani diplomatic passport until the age of 26. When I qualified for Canadian immigration, I had to request a normal citizen passport in order for the Canadians to issue my immigrant visa.

Raju Bhai here... u've posted a reply but i hope u read that properly coz i didnt get wat u said...
If I apply with my original name and original passport then what about the other name passport and the fingerprints which I gave it in Chennai, India... wat if i apply here in canada and my fingerprints match with that then wats gonna happen?
 
The very purpose of 'finger printing' or any other bio-metrics is to uniquely identify an individual and hence identify fraud and criminals who may use multiple passports or other means to hide their true identities.

Why do you end up having 2 passports? Are the names are similar (like Laxmi and Lakshmi) and hence went for second passport? Stating the fact up-front with supporting evidences may help you rather they figure out themselves. Just my opinion.
