It is very easy process

Passport for you and your dependents. That's all. I took our I-485 Receipt Notice, I140 approval notice but they don't ask for these.
Usually they don't ask any questions. They give you one form to fill up and that's all.
One of my friend who was scheduled for 9.00AM was there yesterday at 8.30 and he was out by 9.00AM.

If there is no rush they will take you in irrespective of your scheduled time.

If you are going by Metro train, North Station is just a walk away.(2 minutes)
If you are going by Car, a cheap parking place in Gas Station is just in the corner again a walk away..(2 minutes)

email recd from USCIS about fingerprints recd

I received an email from USCIS about my fingerprints being recd by USCIS.
FP was done on 12th May 2004

On June 7, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Today I recieved email from USISC for both me and my wife with an update on FP. Standard message saying recieved FP's case has resumed or something. Just want to share with you guys.

Did not received FP notice for my son

My and my wife received ist FP notice scheduled on June'24th. Just wondering that we have a sone now he is 4 years old. We Did not receive FP notice for him. Do we have to ?.

I have replied to RFE on 5/11(last updated date is 5/14). Waiting for Second FP.

By looking at the spreadsheet, it looks like they are sending(or sent) 2nd FP notices for people wo did their 1st FP sometime end of 2002. So hopefully I should get the FP notice in few weeks.
Here is my question, when they issue FP notice, does it go to both my attorney and myself?

Hi Guys,
I am bit worried about my finger printing. My 485 was filed on June 10, 2003 at NSC center. I see lot of people got their finger printing before and after me. Should i call them ? what do i do..

No word on EAD's yet . I am seriously waiting dude. I lost my job on june 30th. so I want to move ,but ead expires on aug 31, no h1 visa. so if i get the new ones i will be alright for one year. so seriously waiting man.

No, u don't. FP is required for 14 years and older. :)

Website not updated on FP

Pals,
485 Nd : 3/20/2004 APPlied at NSC
EAD & AP recieved with in 2 months.
FP completed on 5/11/2004 at Newark,NJ

But the USCIS website is not showing any FP update ? Does it take so long to "resume the case". I see many folks whose FP done during the same time state that thier status was updated 2 months ago.
I appreciate any input ??

Any news about your EAD renewal? Maverickvasu posted about his EAD approval.Pl let me know when your EAD gets approved as my RD is about a week behind yours.

Also no update in my FP status.Still the same old mesg.
 
My Ead approved

Hey folks,
My EAD approved ,but not my wife's ead yet . Not even the LUD changed on my wife's ead. our I-131 Lud's changed to yesterday. But the message not changed, it's same message as it say it takes about 400 days or so. I am waiting for snail mails as these web updates are not that accurate.

I just checked that the processing date on my EAD application was changed to 7/27/04 but the message is the same ...its taking between 90-120 days. I think they must have touched my file yesterday...who knows.
