Fingerprinting

Hello,

I received a letter stating that my fingerprinting appointment was fixed for July 6th. Since that day was not convenient for me, I requested the Application Support Center to give me an appointment for the next available Saturday.

On the following Saturday (July 9th), I went to the ASC to see if they would fingerprint me as a walk-in candidate. They obliged me and I had my fingerprints taken.

The next week, I received a letter from the ASC rescheduling my appointment to July 30th.

Should I ignore the notice or should I write/call up USCIS and tell them my fingerprints are already taken? Please advise. Thank you!

Fingerprints are linked to your A#. So your FP is basically over. You can ignore this letter, but to be certain, reply to the letter saying that your FP was completed on 7/9

fingerprint re-scheduling

CowboyBob,

Can you tell me which ASC allowed you to get a walk-in fingerprint done? I am in Chicago and I am trying to get my fingerprint done on a walk-in basis either one week before or one week after my scheduled date, which I cannot make. Please advice from your experience - how to go about it, what documents do we need there (just a copy of the FP notice), and any other helpful tips. Thanks,

kpln
