It never was 5yrs after asylum is granted. But I think it\'s one year less than ppl who obtained their GC thru EB etc.

finger print and medical check

I filed my 485 Nov. 2000 with my finger print and medical check, I don\'t know why you didn\'t need them.

Do you receive interview notice so far? I didn\'t get it.

I guess you were talking to me. No I didn\'t have FP or Medical check when I filed my 485. I think sometime before 2000 INS changed the policy and INS doesn\'t require them with the 485 application now. The obvious reason is that they\'ll expire when your case is up to process anyway.

No, I haven\'t received anything except the initial receipt with a case number. From what we know cases filed in 2000 are still way behind in the queue because of the yearly quota.
