I got my fingerprinting notice for Saturday at the Newark office (VSC)? Anyone know if Newark office is open on Saturday or is the notice sent in error?

Fingerprints are done at Application Service Center (ASC) not the DOs. ASC at Newark is open on Saturdays.
My FP appointment was also on Saturday at Newark ASC.
Please keep in mind that Newark ASC for fingerprinting is NOT in the same building as DO but it is in the same neighborhood.

my fault,i guess i was in a hurry.its the application support center's which are open on saturdays and which process your fp's.
from what i know they are not even employees of uscis but contractors.so there is nothing to worry if they try to boss around.

i was scheduled for fp on april 1st and to make things worse it was a saturday...so when i saw my noa for fp i was like is the uscis fooling around...
