Fingerprinting Notice addressed only to me...

Hi all,

I finally received my call for fingerprinting. The notice has only my name on it, and does not mention my wife. My wife is included in the application for the Adjustment of Status, though. Is this the norm? Or is INS going to send us another notice addressed to my wife?

There should be 2 seperate copies enclosed. The second one is probably on it\'s way........

Thanks Zeedawg. My wife was on an H1-B and she quit her job because we are having a baby. At that time, we filed for a change of status for her from H1-B to H-4 (as my dependent), using the Form I-539. This was around the same time that we also filed for the Adjustment of Status. Could it be, that one application is conflicting with the other in her case, and thats why the delay in getting her fingerprinting notice?

EAD received for my wife - around the end of Feb-01
Call for FP arrived around the beginning of Apr-01
FP scheduled Date is May-01.
