Fingerprinting in Newark - reschedule or walk-in?

Hi - I won't be able to make it to my fingerprinting appointment in Newark because I am going to be out of town. Is it easier/better to reschedule or walk-in one day after the actual appointment to try to get fingerprinted? Anyone have experiences with walk-ins in Newark? If I have to reschedule, how long does it take for the new appointment?

Sanjiv, I was in the same situation and based on posts here, gathered courgae to walk in 2 days later. I was successful and in fact nobody even read the date on the notice. Its definately worth a try!

Park on Mulberry and walk around the corner. On a Saturday, we got there at 8:30Am and was out before 9AM.
 
Had my FP last week, appointment is 2:30PM but I went at 11AM (why not) only 1 other person there, in and out...
