I had my fingerprinting done on 5/24/05 and my online status has not changed, does this mean i have fallen into the category of people where FBI name check will be an issue. How do I find out whether the ins has received my fp and biometrics result. I would hate to get to the interview and not get a stamp because of FBI name check issues. Your responses will be greatly appreciated.

Fingerprinting & Biometrics/FBI NAME CHECK

When I had my FP and biometrics done my online status did not change. I have just had my interview in which I was told my application had been successful. When I arrived home I had email comfirmation that I was succesful and biometrics and finger printing was okay and my GC will be posted to me shortly.

You can call 304-6255-5590 to get the status of your FP. Please note that FP is different than background check. FP is usually done within 24 hours.
