First of all thank U JoeF and others who replied to my first post.
I am hoping I am not bothering U guys here in this forum but citizenship process is a quite new experience to me so I am trying to get a picture of how N-400 is processed
Now my question:
When fingerprinting notice has been sent to the applicant's address, does the online status change e.g. from we received your application bla bla bla to we sent you a notice with appointment for fingerprinting bla bla...?
Thanks again guys

I comlpleted my F/P and the status has been the same since day 1, "We received your application........"

From reading other posts, it does not seem to change with F/P notice, but for quite a few people the online status dissapears (case not found or something to that effect) when an interview letter is mailed. I can still check my status and don't have the int. letter yet. I update the forum if I see the status dissapearing to int. letter correlation.

Don't count too much on the online status. For some people it never showed any status i.e "case not found". For most people it always shows the standard status of "your case was received on ......"

I had my fingerprinting done about 2 months ago and the status always shows as "your case was received on ......" (before and after FP)

my status disapered

iam from the atlanta district and for 9 long months the message was the same i went on 10/13/2005 and it sayed that my case was last updated on 10/13/2005 and went i tryed to check my status letter it disapered i will let you know in case i recive an interview letter .
