fingerprint result pending review

I did my fingerprints last year, but the online message is still showing "On December 18, 2003, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review."
I called to the I-800.. toll free phone, they told me it is normal, sometimes it takes long time to review the fingerprints results. I also called FBI and they told me they have given the results to BCIS on the same day when they received it. I am wondering how can I do now? just wait? or ....... Do you know the Fax number of Vermont center, maybe I need to send a fax to ask them about my fingerprint result. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Please provide your case details always.

It's very common for the message not to change. My message changed after 2 years, even though i took the second fingerprints last year.

It does not take that long for the FP's to get cleared. BCIS 800# lied to you to get you off of their back, it's just that they haven't touched your file and thus the message did not change.

You might want to register on case status website to see your last updated date, atleast you'll know there was some movement on your case.

Unless you get RFE or your get an approval, most likely you'll see that message.

Thanks tufan, My I-485 case was received by INS on 10/07/2002, EAC0300751***. I did my fingerprints on November someday 2003. I just registered at the BCIS website and found my case was updated on 04/15/2004. Do you know what does it mean? it means they have touched my case? Thanks

Me too have the same message for last one year...my
lawyer said not to worry about that..I called 1800 number
they said FP is fine no problems.....
let us wait and see...
