Fingerprint renewal while waiting for interview

Hello!

While I am waiting for an interview letter from LA office, after a transfer from CSC in August, I have received a letter to renew the fingerprint because the previous expired.

Does this mean they will wait till they get the result for the fingerprint and then will schedule my interview? Or in the meanwhile, can they schedule me for an interview?

More than likely you will not be schedule for an interview until your fingerprints are taken and they clear. If they schedule you for an interview in the meantime, but you will not be approved until you give your fingerprints and they clear.
 
I understand the bit that they would not approve anything till they get the results for the fingerprint. I am wondering they could it both of the interview and the fingerprint in parallel (to save time).
 
yes In some cases they do allow it .If the centre is not too busy.
maybe ona week day.say around 10 am
check the forum people have done early FP
