Fingerprint rejected by FBI

Check with INS, they are the supreme authority. In my case FBI said, there is no problem with my FP, but INS said they cannot read. I have to wait for the second notice. But I went to the local INS with the second copy of the first notice and explained them the problem. They took my FP and it is now through. If you have only one copy of FP notice, check with your lawyer, he will have another copy of your FP notice. You can go to local INS without any appointment.
Hope this helps.

Confused

Thanks Doip. I am confused. The IIO didn't say we had to
do the FP again and there was nothing wrong with the FP. It
seems like we can only wait doing nothing. Could you please tell
me the date you took the FP and how long it took for you to
know that you had to do the FP again? Thanks.

In my case, myself and my wife got FP on August'20. My wife's status was updated within a week, but for me, it didn't change for next three months. Then I called FBI and INS, went for re FP on Nov'29, and the status changed on Dec'10th.
Generally it should change within 10 days. In your case try to call INS again and check with them. If they say it is fine then you cannot do anything other than keeping your finger crossed.
