Fingerprint re-taken

Hi,

I had my fingerprint in Aug.2001. Several days ago, I got notice to ask me to have my fingerprint re-taken. Who has the same experience? How long does FBI process the new fingerprint?

me too

i retake my FP and call ins. they told me my FP belongs to 7% of unclassified FP. so i may have to retake again. i am trying to get more info on this. i will share with you.
 
Was your Fp taken on computer or on paper

I think my FP was taken on computer. Did you call FBI about this matter? I took you FP Aug.2001. After five months INS sent me a notice ask me to re-take my FP. It is kind of strange.

What is your ND? When did you get your FP retaken notice?
 
Got my FP retaken just couple of days back. How do I know the reason for reschedule?

I got a reschedule notice from INS after about 15 days of taking my first FP. Got my FP retaken just couple of days back. How do I know the reason for reschedule? I wasn\'t told anything at the INS. Do I have to speak to IIO about this. Or if someone called FBI, at which number did you call them.
 
They might have lost the FP Results.

That is the only reason I can think of.
Also when you do FP on Paper it kind of delays
things and creates confusion.
But nowadays I think it is done on Computer
and results transmitted and received by INS sameday.
The AVM also updated quickly and I think these
things won\'t happen again.
Thats is my 2 cents.
