Fingerprint notice for California Service Center

The sense I get reading some posts is that CSC takes about a month to send the FP notice. I just applied. I am trying to find out when I should start calling and checking status.

Los Angeles Time Line

I sent my application on 9/8 (Los Angeles) and haven't received finger printing notice yet. My check was cashed 9/13. I even didn't receive receipt. Is this normal?

I know someone who filed N 400 in LA recently with
PD : Sept ., 10
First Notice of Action rec'd on 30 th sept
FP notice rec'd on 29 th sept. ( yes, one day ahead of first NOA )
FP appointment : 7 th oct.
 
Los Angeles experiences

Does anybody in this forum have Los Angeles experiences? How much time does it typically take from filing to getting a US passport? Thanks in advance.

Have you received the figerprint notice....if so when the notice recd. and when is actually the appointment date (I'm trying to figure out the duration between notice and actual date for CSC)

I JUST WANT TO SAY, YOU GUYS ARE SO LUCKY. Your DO is much much faster than mine. It took me 5 months just to get a FP. Unfortunately my DO is Memphis, TN.

From CA_Applier's experience, I am guessing I will receive the FP notice sometime early November and it may be scheduled for early part of December but we will see. I will definitely keep you and other members of this forum posted.

Status update

Received FP notice last Friday
Heres my latest status

Priority Date Oct 1
Received Notice Oct 17
FP Notice received Oct 29th
FP date Nov 5th
 
My N-400 paperwork left my hands on the 12th of October (heading to Laguna Niguel, California). My priority date is October 14. I received the fingerprint notice later in the same month.

Priority Date: October 14
Fingerprint appointment: November 16

My N-400 is on deck to ship tomorrow....let's see...as from all of your experience, I am expecting FP around first week of Dec.
