Fingerprint notice after interview / before oath?

Please help me understand this. I got my 3rd fingerprint notice in the mail today. I've been fingerprinted twice before my interview and both times my prints couldn't be read so I had to bring police clearances to my interview on June 30, 2008. I passed my interview and have been waiting six months for my oath-taking letter. It's been less than 15 months since I had my first set of fingerprints taken, also aren't the police clearances that I brought to the interview enough to get my name cleared? What does a 3rd fingerprint notice after the interview mean? I'm worried because my fingerprints don't show up very well on the machines. Has anyone had this kind of thing happen to them? Please help! Thanks.

Looks like there's a disconnect between FP and interview office since you have already provided the police clearance documents after FP couldn't be read twice. They should have provided you a decision since its been over 120 days since interview. Schedule an Infopass and request to speak with a supervisor. Tell them that its been over 120 days since interview and you haven't heard anything from them yet. Let them know that you will consider filing a lawsuit if they provide you an answer.
