Fingerprint in different location

My parents are getting GC through family member.
Interview or case processing will be in New York.
Temporarily they are at California, Can they do finger printing in different location
Other than where interview and case is processed?
There will be letter coming soon for the finger printing,
What should we do to do finger printing in different location than the district office where case is processed?
 
How temporary are your parents in CA? Maybe, if you filed a change of address, you could go to an ASC to do fingerprinting there.
In any case I would call the 1-800 number (1-800-375-5283) to find out about it quickly.

We are not planning to chage the address !
Is it possible to go any ASC to do finger printing ?
 
I did mine in a different ASC BUT that was before they gave you a fingerprinting notice with the exact location. So I don't know if you can do it now. Check out with the 800 number about it. At the end will depend on the ASC where they at right now (in California) if they accept them as a walk in since they won't received a fingerprinting notice in a state where they are not reporting their "current" address.
