Hi Immigration Gurus,

I have applied my I-485 and my RD is April, 2001. So far I havent received any notice for the fingerprints. Gurus
could you please let me know how long will it take to get the FINGERPRINTS as I have already passed my 6
months date from the RD.

Please help me in this regard. Thankyou gurus in advance.....

My lawyer did two fax inquires so far. No reply from INS. My RD 03/21/01 and ND 04/10/01. PD 07/00 ,RIR, EB2, IND.

Is FP notice considering PD too?

Can you post your details.
 
FP is suppose to be city , area , state based .......

INS issues FP based on the address of the applicant which means a person staying in area where FBI is having less load gets the FP faster ......

In this case, How do my wife get her FP. She did her FP in July and I am still waiting for my FP notice.
 
Could anybody else confirm this?

Is that true FP notice is being sent based on the locaton of the applicant\'s residence?

I am also in the same boat got my RD in April and waiting for Fingerprints... If
anyone of guys have received their fingerprints with this RD date, please let me
know with more details as what should I do to make it work fast..

Mighty Count has being doing an excellent job keeping
track of information for April Mailers.
It really helps looking at just one consolidated list.

I would suggest that we all continue to use the April
Mailers Thread.

My RD is 04/18 and I am also desperately waiting for FPs
to start again.

How long should I await for Fingerprints...

Guys I almost over 5 months and still I havent got my fingerprints and my RD is
April 10th, 20001 with ND is June 11th, 2001. So far I havent got my fingerprints notice..
What should I do to make it fast ? Or Is it a right time to approach the INS Officer or
Lawyer to talk and findout my Fingerprints time.. Please respond asap....................

Please give me ur suggestions and advice... Thankyou very much in advance...

When you can not control your environment-----> co-operate

You have following options:

1] Ask your lawyer to send more faxes to INS
2] Send fax to INS yourself
3] Ask your employer to send fax
4] Ask your senator to send INs fax
5] You may send your fingerprints by registered post to INS giving your WAC numbers.
It is a different story that, they will not accept it, but it will give you some relief that you are not helpless.
6] Join INS IT department and expedite FP process somehow
7] Concentrate on your work and don\'t think about FP, AD, GC, Plastic Card for next 2 months.
8] When a woman gets pregnant, there is no point having anxiety, it will take 9 months to deliver the baby.
In case of INS it is similar if not the same, keep on exercising your brain in the office work and things will be delivered
when they are due.
9] Last option - Get anxious, put pressure on your heart and mind, reduce your efficiency and peace of mind
and keep posting 2 messages to this board everyday.

I need a small clarification..... Is the fingerprints date starts counting from the RD or ND. Please clarify
this.. As my RD is April, 2001 and my ND is June, 2001..

I was wondering should I count my six months from RD or from ND to await for the fingerprints... Please
clarify and I will be glad if anyone suggests their experience, views and suggestion on this note.
