Finger prints

Hi to all of you nice people!

I have submitted my n400 application. I have a receipt that USCIS received my application. Most likely USCIS will send me a finger print noticew.

I live in Jacksonville, FL. My driver license and permanent address is Jacksonville, FL.
I work for consulting company located in Jacksonville, FL.
They send me to work for a client in SF, CA. So, Mon-Fri I am in SF, CA. Every Friday, I fly back to Jacksonville.

Here is my question.

Do I have to get FP done in Jacksonville, FL? Can I do FP at USCIS office in SF?
I know that I can go to USCIS office early than what is stated on FP notice. Can I go to any office, or it gotta be my local office?

You can go to any office, but they might refuse you. If you have time, try it. You might get lucky.

It would be advisable to just call the USCIS toll free number - 1-800-375-5283 to inquire about this. Going early for fingerprinting is allowed so going to a different ASC for fingerprinting should also be not much of a problem. One thing to be noted is that the local office at SF may have other fingerprinting appointments scheduled for that day, so its better to clarify and then go for your fingerprinting.
