Finger prints expired - Renewal notice code 1

Our finger prints that were taken on May 20, 2004 expired in August, 2005. Now my wife has recd renewal notice for new FP scheduled on Oct 20, 2005 and I guess mine should be in mail.

This is code 1. I was expecting code 3 as we never did biomatric (code 2).

Is there anyone with different experience? I mean receiving renewal for code 3..

It seems you got schd FP from their system, so its normal.

As many ppl are sharing that they receive biometrics when file is almost processed and ready to adjudicate or already adjudicated and letter says "while processing ur petition we come on this point , we need u to go to......... biometics....."

Ur FP is normal scheduled may be thats why not asked Biometrics. anyway be hopeful.

I'm in the same boat. Actually I raised an inquiry in th eonth os july since my PD was sep 2003 for EB2. After a while I called USCIS since I did not get any reply from them then they said that my finger prints expired that's why they did not approve my case. Whics is nonsense but theoritically correct. They are following the rules and these rules made long back. I would say this is goingto happen fro every one who has completed 15 months.

Prince of junlge is so cool all the time and I do not consider his words that every thign will happen and will come. Especially with NSC we have to put a stick in their AS_ and make them to move. One day Prince of Jungle will come to know this truth. Sorry Prince.
 
Info about Code2 Biometrics?

Hi Friends,

I have given code2 biometrics on Aug 24th.

Does receiving notice for code2 Biometrics means that I-485 File processing(Back ground check,Name check etc) is complete and ready to Approve based on I-140 and Pririty Dates?

Is there any Code3 Biometrics?

POJ - I remember having seen posts from people where code 3 fp has happened just after filing the case. That's why the question..why only code 1 for us at this time.

Plastic_card - I remember your post last month. You were very close to your approval but it was just hard luck that FP expired same day or couple days before. I'm almost in the same situation. My PD is may 23, 2003.

Interesting point is that I wrote to senators besides area congressman. I've got response from congressman and 1 senator. These people have helped me to confirm that my case is cleared of all security checks (NSC scared me by thier response) and it's not getting adjudicated just b,coz FP have expired. They said that I was scheduled for fp.

But now it does not mean anything.

Anyway...I don't know how long it might take..But I'm hopeful that it will not go to Nov 2007 (as in your signature)..it should be done within 2006

I believe they have automated system, and u filed ur 485 in 2003, and u went ur FP on May 2004, when a person go to FP the system automaticly calculate the expireation and schd to send next FP notice, if ur case is adjudicated then fine if not than their system automaticly sends FP,

If u notice ppl who are getting Code 2/3 who filed in 2004/5. and new system is sending them. I believe their system only made changes tor new batch not for those who already scheduled for FP.


There would be millions of millsion FP waiting and getting expiring on all Family....EB catagory... and ppl who filed in 2005 are getting FP+Bio specially.

I also filed in 03, and others got FP+bio, but I got only FP in first quarter of this year. :D .

Just sharing my opinion :D .

Yesterday we received FP notices for my wife and me scheduled for Oct 26, 2005. Interestingly, this time it's CODE 3.

Earlier only my wife recd for code 1 and scheduled for Oct 20, 2005.

I guess I'll have to skip Oct 20 because that's just code 1. It would be taken care of when we do code 3 on Oct 26. Any ideas..or should I ask attorney?

I would have been so excited about it, had this notice appeared a month ago..not it's just a process..
