Finger prints expiration

I had my fingerprints done in march\'00 and my src#00074#####, could somebody tell me when fingerprints are going to expire and if there is a chance any decision on my I485 will be made before that, I asked an IIO yesterday and she said case is still pending

As far as I know the fingerprints are valid during 15 months. Usually INS avoids the situation when you need to redo your fingerprints.
