I did today my fingerprints for second time which is code 3 and I did same one last year on March 31 for same code 3. does finger prints expire for every year ? I just want to make sure.
I believe there is 15 month expiration on finger prints taken for GC purpose by USCIS.
In my case, it was less than an year when I went for second finger printing (because of refiling 485). First time we had code 3 but second time it was code 2. Second time they took the print of just the index finger and photographs.
It will be interesting what will happen with your case after the FP. Your priority is not that far. Maybe you could get your approval in less than 2 months.
