Finger Printing

I want to do my Finger Printing as per the schedule. Can my wife do FP at later date as she is out of the country?

Yes, you can re-schedule your wife\'s FPrinting. Call the service center in advance to schedule

Will this affect my processing in any way? I mean will my approval be delayed becasue my wife\'s FP is not done? That is, will INS wait for my wife\'s FP to be completed before they approve my case?
Please help...
