Finger Printing.. Update

Hello,

I completed my Finger Printing this morning successfully. My appointment was not even today. It is scheduled for 9/22. Since i may have a tough time doing that day, i thought i'll take a shot and see if i can get today. I walked in to the counter and showed the person my letter. She asked me if i would like to get it done today and that the process will take about 10 minutes. I said i'd be glad to get it done.

She asked me to show my DL and Green Card and while verifying the documents she asked to complete one form. While i was doing it, she handed over a packet for my tests etc.

I had completed my form by now and within 5 minutes my number was called. The Technician took my fingerprints and i was done in about 5 minutes.

Observation:

While the technician was doing the finger printing, i noticed that each of my print had a number 78 and at the bottom it said PASS. I am not sure what the number is. Did anybody else get any numbers like this ?? Can you please let me know ???

Anyway, before i could leave he said everything looks good. You are done.

My August Timelines.

DO: Greer - SC
GC Received October, 04
N400 Applied
08/25/09 - Fedex to lock box
08/26/09 - Receipt Notice
08/27/09 - NOA received
09/03/09 - Online changed to RFE
09/05/09 - LUD
09/07/09 - FP received
09/22/09 - FP Appointment
09/18/09 - Walk In.
09/18/09 - Finger Printing Complete.

The number that appears on screen is the quality of FP based on FP ridges. It's standard procedure for technician to verify number to make sure the quality is sufficient before the results are sent off to FBI.

Is there a number to call the FBI and ask if the results are OK. If yes, can you please let me know which number to call ?

As i had posted earlier, i was done with my finger printing today. I had reached out to this forum so i can call FBI and find out a status of my finger printing.

I just called them and they told me that it was received, processed and sent back to USCIS.

Thats the update i got :)

Just curious, can anyone let me know what i should expect next in my N-400 Process.

My mom got a call for Finger prinitng for Green card. does they have any procedures for this or we need to go Directly to the specified address on the form

A call from who? I am not aware that USCIS calls people for FP? Please add some more meat on the bones....:confused:

I presume you got a letter since your last phrase is "address on the form". Yes, go to the address as directed. People have done citizenship FP earlier than scheduled due to availability etc., not sure if you can do the same for GC ... but you can try.
