Finger Printing Notification Question

Once you apply for I-140/I-485 concurrently, how long does it normally take to receive the notice for Finger Printing ?

I am going to be on vacation during the month of April and I am trying to figure out when to ask my lawyer to apply so that my appointment will be after the end of April.

Thanks for any insight that you could provide...

Don't delay your filling for vacation reason. There is no fix time for FP appointment.
If you miss appointment you can always do later I dont think they take it seriously if you are late for couple of days.

I was not planning to wait till I came back from vacation. The documents will only be ready about a week before my vacation. Since my vacation is for 23 days I was just going to wait one week and ask my lawyer to apply around the time I start my vacation. Looking at current dates, it seems like the earliest that a person gets the notification is about 20 days. So, that should help.

Thanks for your reply.

For me and my wife (we filled separately with one month interval), both of us did FP exactly one month after we mailed the I-485s (3 weeks from receipt notice). The FP appointment notices themselves were after 7 days (me), 3 days (wife) from I-485 receipt notice.
