Finger printing notice delayed for wife

Hi all,

This is regarding my wife's citizenship. I sent her application in 1st week of April and sent fees by check, which got en-cashed in 3-4 days and then we received her NOA with the notice date of 17th Apr 2012.

Since then, we have not received her finger printing notice yet. It has been already 4 weeks. When I check the status on USCIS website, it shows it is in the initial review status. I received my FP notice in only 2 weeks. Hence, we are bit concerned.

I wanted to check if anyone has experienced this here. I have checked few posts and found normally FP notice comes within 2-3 weeks.

Please help.

Frustrating I know but don't worry to much. I filed my N400 in March and only just recievd notice of my BIO now, day 52 !!!!

It generally takes longer at some local offices to schedule your BIO than at others.

Which local office is this? I have seen that applicants from Milwaukee area got quite a bit delayed in the FP process.

I am in the same boat. I called them last monday, and they said the same thing as on the web status...except that "we could not find any available date in ur area"...or something like this

But call them at

USCIS Customer Service Office at 1-800-375-5283 for assistance
