Guys,

I got the FP Notice for me and my wife. By mistake my wife put a digit wrong in the social security number in the form at FP office. How can we go ahead correcting this. Spoke to USCIS and they asked us to send a letter to them. Called the FBI and they said it's already processed and send it back to INS.

Do you guys know the Telephone number of Charlotte office. I am in the process of sending them a letter but it would be nice If I could talk to some real person over there. It's a 3 hour drive from here. Already notified my lawyer.

Also My online message never changed. It's still says "we received your I-485 application and it will take blah-blah date" Is there something to worry about here.

Don't worry, I believe its just protocol, and won't hurt ur case/ messed up.
the system match ur/her SRC-???? no and name. they even won't look at on it.

Not only u but they also made hundreds of mistake like this, and everythings goes fine.

For ur peace in mind, send a letter to them.

Good Luck

POJ is right, its not a big deal. More important is your A# and SRC# rest is just formality. You might send them a letter for your satisfaction/record.

Relax, things will be fine.

Also when sending the letter, get a delivery confirmation from USPS/UPS/FedEx/Whatever. Also keep a copy of the letter for you. That way if there is an issue regarding this in the future, you got prove that you attempted to correct it.
