Finger printing for children

Hi

This may be very basic question, request clarification

My son is 9 years old. Does he also needs finger printing done? From what age children requires finger printing?

I have not sent finger printing fee for my son when my 485 application is filed.
My self and spouse got finger print notice. Finger print scheduled date 03/30/2005.

Yes, you will get notice for your child finger printing..
 
my daughter is 9y old she never got her FP notice, she received her green card two days back ( I received my card two weeks back I do not know why they delayed my daughter's one), they used the photo from her AP. on her GC it is "No FP Available"

It is from VSC.

It looks like it varies from service center to service center. I read in the forums some chilidren less than 5Y old also got their FP done.
