Finger printing appointment time ?

Hi :

Got a finger printing notice today for San Diego.
Appointement date is 04/16/2003 .

Now my question is can I go and get my finger printing done
before the actual appointement date .

If yes then what's the procedure for doing this ?

Any comments appreciated.

Yes, you can. Bringing your notice is enough.

get your drivers license too.

show up at a time when there is not too much crowd..so that there is less chance of them asking you to come back later.
Get the original FP notice..show it at the door..sign in ..with details like WAC#, A#, DOB, country , etc...you will be called to get FP don on the electronic machines..make sure that the technician gets all the FPS correctly...keep the signed recipt that he will give you.
2 days later call the FBI to make sure that they have recieved and returned yours FPS back to INS

I have an appointment for Fp on 4/12/2003 at Oakland. I would like to do it earlier. Does anyone know if oakland center is crowded and what time would be best to go there?

in oakland center they are pretty strict about the appt date and time. Last year they didn't entertain any early FP.
