My I485 was filed on May 2003. I have not received a notice for finger print yet many people who have filed after me have received finger print requests. Is this normal? Please advice.

Nothing is normal....what I can suggest you is to call your senator's office and just talk about your fP notice that you didnt get yet and they will help you out...thats how I got mine...I am also from May 03 Que. Dont talk about I485 at all.....good luck
since nothing is normal, so no people will say your case will definitely
be approved in 15 months, then your first fingerprint is nothing.

Nothing happened
Even i have not received my fp notice ,My ND is may-2003
1)for finger prints i spoke to my attorney he sent note to uscis....No use
2)I have changed my address......No FP- No use
3) I have contacted my senator's office ,senator's office people contacted uscis.
default message from ins ..we are working on may2002 cases...
after that my LUD changed..No FP
I dont know how to get my FP

Suryapet what is a LUD? I appologize if this is a common accronym and I am not aware of it.

Rumor is that May'03 was critical month and USCIS has changed some policy.
I have read it somewhere but not able to find. Will post if I find that.

I had First FP after approximately One Year
Yes, I had my First FP approximately after ONE year after filing my I-485.
see my signature, I had my First FP on Oct 12.
Two months back, I called my attorney regarding my delayed First FP. He told me that now a days First FP notices are delayed by many centers so that FP will last for 15 months till I-485 gets adjudicate & there is no need of Second FP. So, they will delay FP by 12 months, will do First FP which is valid for 15 months...that becomes 25 months which is current I 485 processing time at Nebraska...fyi..I am located in Columbus, OH
