My parents had their AOS interview in Jan 2021 and my mother received her GC in the mail. Both Indian citizens and Family Based GC Category.
For my father they have requested a Police Clearance Record from all the places that he has lived in the last 5 years. We will get the PCC from the US City where we live now for the last 2 years - but how about getting a PCC for the stay in India? He cannot travel to India so it is difficult to get it from there as the local police station needs the person to be present there to sign and get photographed.
Indian Embassy in USA does obtain a PCC for Indian Passport holders in the USA. Is that valid and acceptable to USCIS?
Has anyone encountered anything like this? Please advise.
