Finger Print Question

Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me out. yesterday I received a letter that my finger prints are expiring... My paper work was submitted in Aug of 2008. How is that possible that after 6 months I have to retake them.

Has anyone heard of this before, should I be worried?

One other thing also. I already went for my interview and passed it. I also mailed in my photos they requested. All I was waiting for was my appointment for my oath... This letter has me worried now.
 
Did you previously submit a I-751 by chance? If so, they my have incorrectly tied FP those results with your file, eventhough you recently redid FP.
Schedule an Infopass and let them know that you received the notice so that they can update their system correctly.
 
I will have to look to see what a I-751 form is. One thing I did call them because I changed my address. I was in the process of moving to my new house. Would that cause for them to send me a new FP?
 
Just read a little about the I-751... I have been here for over 20 some years... I just got married 2 yrs ago... So now I didn't fill out this form at all.
 
The last time I heard something was in Nov 08. Since then I haven't heard anything until now. I don't understand why I received the letter if my app was submitted in Aug of 2008
 
K, so you never had a FP before last year right?
Looks like USCIS did not correctly update your FP status. They should be able to update your status correctly during Infopass.
