Guys,

Two questions, please answer.

If I live in the SF office jursidiction, will my
FP notice say I have to go to SF.

Does SF allow going earlier than the appointment date.

I searched Ciba\'s site\'s FP experience section but couldn\'t
answer the questions.

Thanks,

Dr. Bongo A Gogo A Go Go Slowly (waiting for FP).

Finger Printing in not usally done at INS local office. You have to go to ASC (Application Service Center), which does the finger printing. It could be in a Mall or somewhere in town assigned to you by INS in a Finger Printing Notice.

I did it earlier then scheduled date this was my personal decision, so don\'t follow it.(Note: This is not a leagal advise)

Your kidding right.

I thought finger printing would be done under
strict control and the INS office.

I did it earlier than assigned date at SFO ASC. They did say I should follow the assigned date blar blar, but I talked them into it and finally they let me in. My opinion: if they question about the date, be nice but persistent, they actually know it\'s not a big deal at all to do FP ahead of schedule, as long as you bring the notice.

Does it help to go earlier?

Have people with the same ND but different FP dates
gotten their approvals at vastly different times.

Since an AOS cannot be approved with finger prints, finishing
finger print as soon as possible has a slight advantage in
the processing.
