Finger print FBI Phone Number

Does anybody know the FBI number to inquire about finger prints. My wife and myself gave finger prints on 10/25/04. Her status is changed but not mine. For the matter of fact her status is updated everyday.
 
Have your A# ready. Here it is:

1. Call any one number:
304 625 5590
304 625 2406

2. Select Option 3 or Option 2 i.e. Private Individual
3. Tell her/him that you need to check whether your FP report is sent to INS or not ?
 
It's really up to you, I guess. You can try. I think two weeks after the FP date is a reasonable time to allow all the agencies involved to do their work to have the status ready when you inquire.
 
Just called the number and told them That i did last year..
Gave A # number..
They said that it has gone the same day last Dec 10 2003.

But in site it shows they recd only on Dec 29 2003..

What the hel these guys are doing there...
 
The online USCIS message could be misleading sometimes. I remember my FP was done in Sept 2003 and the online status said the results were received Oct 2003. The important thing is your FP was cleared and FBI had forwarded the results to USCIS. Processing has resumed for your case and you might want to check if the name check is cleared as well. I can provide you with the sample fax request document if you want.

I did faxed FBI twice set 2004 and Oct 7 th No reply yet..

I don;t know how to get a reply for Name check..

Please provide the letter...
 
Hopefully, the name check status email (or phone call?) will come soon. In my case, I got the reply from David M. Hardy almost a month after the fax request. Attached is the document.

I too sent the mail around Sep 30th for the name check status... you wouldnt belive i got the reply today from Officer Hardy. I think there is a backlog in FBI for email responses also. ;)

FBI Fax # please?

What is the difference between "fingerprint check" request and "name check" request? And if diffrent, does FBI do those simulyaneously or one after the other?

What is the fax # for FBI to send a name check status request?
