No LUD update after 7/1. I was expecting another update today but none happened. Probably, they have heard rajudm that I was getting too many hits on LUD.
Is it possible that they have completed the processing(afterall they have worked for seven days on this case based on LUD update) and it is only the decision to be communicated now?

Or may be long weekend means short on work.

There is no update on any other pending case e.g. 485 since June 24.

My guessing is that you are going to see some "status update" in your case before July 16th. Let us wait and See.

naanshi..how important is LUD

Is it possible that the case can be adjudicated without a change in LUD. Hopefully this week and the next we should see some RFEd bulk I140 movements.

I don't think So. When they work on your case, the LUD will change. Till they work on your case, it won't get adjudicated....

Hi naanshi,

No change on LUD or status after 7/1.

However, I applied for 7th year extension on 7/6 by premium processing ( h1 expiring Nov 2004) on basis of pending 140 . The 7th year extension has been approved on 7/8, just in 3 days time.

This probably means that 140 is still not denied per the last LUD on 7/1. What do you think?

I am not sure why they touched my case for 7 days in a row and after that this silence. I wish they decide on the case soon as I have to decide whether to use the substitute labor available to me or continue with current employer.

As I have sent AC21 letter, I do not want to change the employer if there is any remote chance of approval of 140.

What is your openion?

One thing is sure. Your I-140 and I-485 are still valid. That is a Good sign.

My guessing is that the adjudicator worked in your case, was not able to decide what to do. So he/she might have send your case to the supervisor for final review and it is sitting there. If my guessing is correct, next time you will see the status change also, when your LUD is updated.

Better you wait to get some decision to do anything. May be a week or two weeks.

naanshi...here is the update on my I485

My I485 date is unchanged, where as my I140 and two dependents I485 got updated first on 7th july when they approved I140 and then again on 8th July. According to tammy2 it means my I140 and I485 are together so didn't update my I485. These files may be sitting on supervisor's desk or waiting for something, isn't it?

No LUD change after 7/1. I tend to agree with you that now the LUD update and status update should probably happen at same time.

Let us wait and watch. I would update you if the status or LUD changes.

LUD updated on 140 again today. No change in status yet.

They have probably started working on my case again after a gap of 25 days.

Did they consider yours as concurrent according to FO memo? IN that case they may have taken up the I485 also .....who knows you may get all of them in one go. Please update us.

The kind of LUDs on my case are puzzling me.
From 6/23 to 7/1, LUD changed 7 times on 140 and once on 485 ( on 6/24).
Now, on 7/27 LUD changed for 140 and 485 ( for me and my wife, child no change)
Again today on 7/28, LUD changed for 140 and 485 ( for me and my wife, child no change again ).

In last 5 weeks there have been 10 LUD on 140 and 3 LUD have been made on 485 as well.

What do we take out from this?

LUD change for I-140 and I-485 petitions at same time without status change (that too many time) is little bit scary one. Just hope for the best. I strongly feel that you are going to get some information from USCIS very soon.

Most probably you will get concurrent adjudication!

I am also feeling fishy. I have not seen 485 updates for most of people getting 140 approved on this forum.
However, at the same time, my case is for AC21 also, which probably requires updates to 485 as well, and is not a regular category case.

Where I am getting puzzled is that if they were to deny it, why are they taking so much of time and why they need to update 485 so many times. They have already done it 3 times in last 1 month.

Today, there is no LUD update.
 
My reply to RFE was sent out on 7/13 and they updated on 7/16 saying the RFE was received on 7/15.

Anxiously waiting with prayers...

Looks like somebody from NSC tracker, had I-140 LUD change three times and finally he got his I-485 approval with his I-140 approval. So you still have a good chance.
