Anybody knows if I'm eligible to get financial aid from government at college I just enrolled into? I'm about to get my EAD, SSN soon after hopefully. When my husband signed Affidavit for me, what kind of welfare does that include anyways?

Yes, you are eligible for a college aid

If you read the instructions and requirements to the Financial affidavit carefully, you’ll understand the that the main purpose of that document it is to prohibit you from taking any kind of financial welfare from the government for the next 5 years.
I believe the student aid is excluded from the list of “means-tested public benefits” that you currently not eligible for. I suggest you research and file FAFSA: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
Your college financial aid officer will help you with the applications process. You might qualify for a government grant and/or the low interest bank loan.

Good luck!
