Finally Spoke with IIO on Friday the 13th Sep 01: RD 11/20/01

First try, more than 1 hour wait, gave up and hung. Tried again got thru after 35 min wait.
Found out that my address change was not done. Though my company and lawyer confirmed that they have done.
I just wanted to verify address, was not bothered to ask about time of approval and so.

But IIO himself said that currently processing upto 15th Sep 01 RD cases.
He correctly said my RD is 20th Nov 01.

He voluntarily said it may take 2-4 more months.

IIO was good and polite.
RD : 20 Nov 01
state : MD
case not transfered to local INS.
 
2-4 months for Nov. RD ?

my RD is Nov 19th ..
IIO told 2-4 months is it for Nov RD ?

Lets c how far is this true ..

When I spoke to IIO about address change (last week of August)...

...I was told that I can expect approval within 45 days to 3 months.
 
INS Defies any logic

Please refrain from any prediction. There is no saying what will happen in the next few months .
 
Just shared my experience

I am personally not that curious about predicting anything. Things happen when they are due.
Just posted my experience, it is upto you, to take it or leave it.

I never bothered to talk to IIO. But one of my friend said his address was not updated so better talk to IIO and verify it.
That's how I ended up calling, anyway it was good I called.
Since I used to see lot of postings here, just thought to better share my experience. Since I benefitted from others writing here, thought to reciprocate my experience too.

There is no formula which can be applied/used to predict approvals.
I know a friend RD: Feb 2002 getting interview date for sep 26 2002.
I know another friend RD: May 2001 still waiting.

Through this board you just see trends and probability and it is not neccessary that this trend /probability will hold good for all.

Some are lucky, some are not.
