Since people ask questions but never come back to update , I have decided to do the opposite. Although I think i still have questions.

I completed my interview yesterday in chicago. Passed the test and and english test. LIke i had said before i was arrested for DV but no charges were ever filed. I was asked about that i gave all the proof that the charges were filed. It happened 8 years ago. The IO made the notet again and again on my application that no charges were filed and it had happened outside the statuary limitations. He said he does not see a problem with it and he will approve the application although his supervisor should sign off on it. He started talking oath dates and since i live away from chicago he said the OL will be mailed. He gave me a printout of congratualations your case is approved. I was looking dissappointed ans worried so he said if he can he will go now and talk to him superviosor. he came back and said he is not at his desk. I looked even more disappointed...so then he took out a rubber stamp and sramped APPROVED on my application and circled OATH on my application and sad i don;t see any problem why my boss will no sign off so i will approve it. He walked me out after that.

Now my questioin is, did my application get approved or will the IO's boss see issues with my case?

Congratulations. I just love the way you kept appearing more and more disappointed and the guy just stamped APPROVED :-)

Yes, it's been recommended for approval .. it's a formality to have the supervisor sign off on it to double check anything that may have been missed.
