Finally my I485 got Approved - EB3 India - PD June 19 2002 - Texas

Finally, I received unexpected sweet real surprise emails saying mine and my wife 'I485 - CARD PRODUCTION WAS ORDERED' on June 2nd. Today June 4th, I received Approval emails and waiting for the cards.

Definitly, this is a really surprise becz even though EB2 India PD got moved to June 2003, sofar I didn’t see any approval notices in our forums for EB3 2002 June cases. So, I am in an impression that INS just moved PD, because they want to collect money for new EAD, AP and new I485 applications. But in reality it’s different.

In my whole GC process, this Immigration.com - forums were undoubted very helpful, right from the beginning. I wish everyone good luck and hope, soon, you will receive the same surprise emails.

Chags did you take Second FP ?

Hi Chags,

Was there a Second FP for you ? My PD is Aug 2002 EB-3 and i still did not get any Second FP Notice !!

I got my second finger print around 2 week of May 2007. They took print, only the middle finger. Hope you will get soon...

USCIS - Use less

There is no process / procedure in USCIS they are Useless

In America also this happens means it is shame on the Govt and people who work in Govt organizations here.

There are people waiting with old PD's and much earlier application filing date and they just give approvals randomly.

Changs, I am happy u got the approval.. Enjoy..

I am just throwing out my frustration on USCIS process on how things flow even in this advanced country with all the advanced and latest things they are not doing proper job.

no more words to explain or comment on the way the USCIS system works.

they are ready to give citizenship for Illegals.. Legal people pay all taxes and still they have to strugle.

this is the Irony of Life.
 
Green_Always, there is always a reason for delay. Probably you are stuck in Name Check. Check with USCIS. Call them. If you don't get info you need with call, take InfoPass appointment and ask them the reason for the delay. Think and act instead of getting nervous and frustrated.
 
EB3 - VSC to TSC xfer... waiting for the good word!

My PD is just around the corner :confused: . But, my case was transferred from Vermont to TSC and got my second finger print in the beginning of May.

Finally i got log waiting news
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
25 th june we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

My priority date is 2001 Dec.

Just curious to know i did not get any email where it says card production ordered, before approval email sent, and i did not get any approval mail also.

Did you get your physical copy of approval notice or cards. I have the same status from 28th June and yet to receive the physical copy of approval notice. Thanks

My case is exactly similar to yours ! only diff is my 485 RD is 04/2004

I have friend with Jun 01 tx to TSC, waiting...

( but my birth year is not '73 ;) sorry man, couldnt resist !

Any idea to my questions - My PD was July 18 2002

Labor : EB3/RIR ND: Jul 18 2002 (Born in Dubai)
Labor Approved on April 7 2006 (Philadelphia BEC)
I140 : ND May 31 2006
I140 : Approved on Jan 5 2007
I485 : ND Feb 14 2007
EAD/AP/FP all have been done - Got A #'s for entire family.
I485 RFE (Primary) on Birth Certificate : Apr 3 2007
I485 RFE response given on June 6 2007
I485 Case resumed on June 13 2007

My question is with the current retrogression will this impact my case too ? I was able to apply for I485 as my PD got current in Feb'07 under Worldwide quota

I plan to visit INDIA next month and come back on AP - Will that be a problem?

My H1B is expired in passport but I do have extension I797 which I don't intend to use and go through restamping but come back to US on AP
 
Why don't u call IO and see? Cause looks like your GC should be approved by now since you sent your RFE response a month back.....

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to share the news that I just recieved email saying my card has been ordered.

PD dec 2001 India / NJ
485/140 filing : OCT 2004
140 Approval : Apr 2005
Case transfered from VSC to TSC on 3/15/07
FP2 : May 11
NO LUDs after that until today
07-13 : Card ordered both fro me and spouse.
