Hi
Everybody on this board after local interview on March 14, 2002, our 485 has been approved on March 22, 2002. Passport stamped on March 27, 2002.
following are my details on 485.
RD 09/09/2000
ND 09/29/2000
FP (first) 12/08/2000
TD to local INS 09/14/2001
Interview notice Received: 12/14/2001
Interview Date: 03/14/2002
FP (second) 03/14/2002, because first one expired.
Approval Date: 3/22/2002
Notice Received by mail: 3/26/2002
Passport stamped: 3/27/2002
At the interview the officer was very nice, asked me whether I am with same company all along, asked for the current letter of employment, last 2 months pay stub, asked routine yes/no questions from 485, verified my address and signature on 485, asked how many kids I have, asked whether I have interruption in work. Finally the officer told us he can not approve the case on the spot because our finger print has expired. He said he will do it as soon as he gets back the FP result, which he did. My attorney asked him why my file was transfered? he said he did not see any reason other than expired FP.
This board was very helpful for me during this hard time. I thank everybody one this board for their contribution and wish them a very good luck for their effort in obtaining their green card.
