Hi all,

I finally received the wonderful emails that both mine and my spouse’s 485 has been approved. I just had one question. The status does not say that our cards have been ordered etc. It says that approval notification was mailed on the March 16th. Can I just sit tight and wait for our cards to arrive??? People who got their approvals recently, what kind of message did you get??

Thanks to this wonderful forum where people are ready to answer any question and has tons of information. Definetely CSC has woken up and is working hard. Just hang in there and you should see your approvals soon.

Labor PD – Dec 2001 Approved – June 2004
140 Approved – April 2005
485 RD – Sep 27 2005
FP Done – Oct 2005
Email enquiry to CSC – Mar 3rd
Reply received – Mar 8th that it will processed in 90 days
LUD – Mar 9th with no message update
LUD – March 16th – Approval Message
LUD – March 17th – No Message change

I485 : RD 03-12-2004. LUD: 10/27/2004,02/14/2005, 01/10/2006, 03/14/2006 (email enquiry for NAME check status and message reply is that security check have cleared).

card ordered email

You should get another email that says your card was ordered and will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

should we be going for stamping after we get the approval?? or so we just wait for the cards..thanks

Congratulations!!! However, you should understand that the reader's in the forum are very anxious to know if you are from the retrogressed country.

I hope anybody who gets approval notice also include these info while sharing their joy.
I myself am curious since your nick name points to be a Tamilian. :cool:

Thanks Jolly and prey4gc.....and you guessed it right:) am a Tamilian and from India. My PD became current on March 1st.

Hi Kolangal,

I got the message like "Visas are available at this time for your I-485 application. The I-485 will be pulled from the file room and forwarded to the monthly Processing shelf. The file will than be assigned to an officer for review. A decision or transaction should take place within 90 days" in the first week of march.Did u get the same message??

I didnt get any LUD changed.My PD is Oct 2001.I am really worried.I dont know when it will be approved??

wow you are really lucky to get the approval within two weeks after your PD became current. Mine became current at the same time and have sent an email to CIS, but nothing. :(

I think it's completely random how they are pulling the files and it really depends on your LUCK. I know people whose PD is earlier than yours and still have not gottne approved. If you are lucky to get pulled early, you will get processed early. CIS probably doesn't have a systematic way of locating and arranging the different cases.

Yes that is the exact message I got. Dont worry too much..it is just a matter of few days and am sure u will see your approvals

I guess so...i was quite surprised myself when i saw the emails yesterday....hope it is real and i get to see my approvals and cards :confused: ...i agree with the randomness....

The emails have come at 10.15......maybe the updates occur later...thats my guess
