Hi 140seekerJune,

Did your message changed to "RFE Received..." after replying to RFE ?
If so, how many day it took after INS received your RFE reply ?
Please share this info.

thanks,

congratulations!

140seekerJune, enjoy your freedom!

if i remember right, weren't you having some issues with your employer, and you had resigned as a result of that? how did all of that pan out?

anyhoo, i am glad it all worked out for you. congrats again!

Thanks

Thanks Guys! I quit my Employer and joined the new company. During the exit Interview I gave a good treat to all. You can talk your mind only then. This is a fact that there are American guys who hate our color. Sometimes its hard to gain their trust even though we kiss their a**.

The CIS updated the message to "RFE received" the next day after I sent the RFE.

The affidavits are valid only if you can submit a NON-AVAILABILITY certificate. Since you already submitted the BC with the wrong names of your parents, I would say get a local Govt. certificate saying it was spelled wrong and here goes the new certificate. Otherwise get a certificate from them saying thats the only certificate they can issue. Then submit affidavits. CIS is looking for civil documents. They want to see the country or state seal on the paper.

Concering the MC this is my advise. Get a NON-AVAILABILITY certificate from the Marriage Registrar that your marriage is not registered and there is no information. Since Marriage and Birth are very important documents the office that you approach may not give the certificate easily. Contact a local politician to get it. You may need to spend some money for it.

Here is some info regarding the Marriage Registrar. There is a Marriage Registrar in each town in India. Then there is a head quarter. Then there is State Capital office. When you approach your local Registrar he may not listen you at all. Then you have to approach the district level. If that does not work go to the capital level. If you don't have someone in India to do this, then you have to go. Any politician who accepts money for their party will help you. They know that you have money. But don't do anything illegally like forging documents. The same guys who help you this time may blackmail you in the future.

Good luck!
