Finally I heard from them - I just wish I didn\'t

Yes it is a shame. Until they are made to be accountable at all levels, this situation will remain the same.

Smile,
You are absolutely right. The way INS represents laws and acts (against them ) is the main reason that Ron always suggested to go for CP. But I guess we are now stuck with AOS. I guess we\'ll do both - ask INS to drop RFE due to 180 days rule and as you said - file new I140 and wait. AND WONDER WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO COME UP WITH NEXT...

I understand your frustrations. It is horrible what we have to go through. But unfortunately we will not change to much just talking to each other. We have to address our issues on a different level. I have written to a congressman to do an inquiry about the case, and I have written to a director of CSC. Just keep writing about your frustrations to a senator, congressman or city supervisors. They will do something about it. Believe me. It is important that the case gets attention from a different level.
Good luck

I have not received my EAD yet. I am kind of confused as what should I do next.
-Should I look for and start a new job ?
-How soon can I accept new job ?
-If I join new company, will my AOS application be cancelled ?
-Do I need to start my permanent residence from the scratch with new company ?
-Should I wait for EAD or AOS approval ?
Any help or suggestion will be appreciated . Thanks
