At last I got the email from CRIS stating my I 485 application has been approved. I got the approval mail for my wife also. I want to thank all members in this forum for their contribution. Thanks to Rajiv Khanna for this wonderful site.

I do not know what triggered the approval. I've sent letters to Congresswoman, FL and Senator about two months ago. But I haven't heard anything official from them except the congresswoman called couple times to inform they are waiting status from FBI and USCIS.

I've a LUD on 08/13

Congratulations to you! I got my approval notice today also. Can you share the message you received? Did you receive the Approval notice or the Welcome notice or the Card Production Ordered notice?

Here is mine:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 23, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.
 
Here is the message I got.

On August 23, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this
customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any
instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed
within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT
processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you
move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also
receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow
the link below to register.

My case is much similar to yours with PD, RD closer, XFR from VSC to NSC, Location=Philly, FP2 ND is same, FP2 scheduled for 7/10 but took on 6/27 though. I had LUD changes 8/22 and today 8/23; but not change in the message. Look forward for the good news sooner.

My case details are close to you except PD. Mile is Oct2001 . I had LUD on 6/22 . After that no news. May be stuck in security checks.
 
Don't worry. I called at least 4 times during the past two months. I got the same response like security check pending, NC pending etc.
 
Today I got my 4th AP approved. And Info pass in last week said my security checks are pending and reply to SR is your case is pending and contact again after 6 weeks.
Any ideas if i can get my GC approved by october this year
